Eleanor G. Jarrell

Eleanor G. Jarrell, 84, of Charlottesville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2010, at her home with her family at her side.

She was born on September 20, 1925, in Louisa, Virginia, the daughter of the late Roy and Lillie Goodwin.

She retired from the American Safety Razor Company after many years of service.

She is survived by her husband, James H. Jarrell; a daughter, Linda Campbell of Charlottesville; two grandchildren, Priscilla and her husband, Johnathan Langone, of Indiana, and Jennifer and her husband, Brian Howe; and a lovely great-grandchild, Caela of Charlottesville.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2010, at the Hill and Wood Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at Holly Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Greg McCormick officiating.
