George A. Wells

George A. Wells, 77, of Keswick, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 7, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

The son of the late Randolph and Julia Wells, he was also preceded in death by a son, Glenn Allen.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Esther E. Wells; two sons, Michael and Steven Wells, both of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; one brother, Curtis Wells of New York, New York; and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Reverend William Coleman officiating.

Services of comfort are entrusted to the staff of McClenny Funeral Service Inc.

I WAS SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF MR WELLS. I MET HIM MANY YEARS AGO THROUGH MY WORK IN THE CHARLOTTESVILLE AREA.HE WAS A VERY THOUGHTFUL AND SPECIAL PERSON. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIS SMILE AND LOVE FOR THE OUTDOORS MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AT THIS TIME AND THE DAYS AHEAD
