Gladys G.K. Hudgins

Gladys G.K. Hudgins, 91, of St. Mary's, West Virginia, died Monday, January 11, 2010, in Marietta, Ohio.

Gladys was born October 20, 1918, in Harrisville, West Virginia, a daughter to the late James W. and Jessie F. Tingler Gill.

She was a graduate of Harrisville High School with the class of 1937, and also the West Virginia Business College, Clarksburg, West Virginia. She was a member of the Madison United Methodist Church, Madison, where she also was a member of the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by a son, David L. Knight and his wife, Nancy, of Smithville, West Virginia; step-son, William C. Hudgins and his wife, Wilda, of Gallestin, Tennesse; grandsons, Brian Knight and his wife, Chris, Greg Knight and his wife, Marsha, both of Harrisville, West Virginia; and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ashley, Benjamin, and Zachary Knight.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Hudgins; sister, Merle G. Verbick; and brother, James Gill.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the Harrisville IOOF Cemetery with the Pastor Robert Perine officiating.

Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at the Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, West Virginia.
