Gladys Irma Rollins

Gladys Irma Rollins, 93, of Charlottesville, died Monday, October 26, 2009, at RoseWood Village at Hollymead in Charlottesville.

She was born October 5, 1916, in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Sylvaneus Earl Henderson and Anna Marie Ebersohl Henderson and wife of the late Charles Frank Rollins. She was also preceded in death by her son, Dale F. Rollins; and a brother, Allan Henderson.

She was a member of Ellington Congregational Church in Ellington, Connecticut.

Mrs. Rollins is survived by her daughters, Analyn Newsome of Dunnellon, Florida, and Marcia Rollins of Raphine, Virginia; daughter-in-law, Betty Rollins of Rochelle, Virginia; and grandchildren, Fredrick Rollins and his wife, Barbara, of Palmyra, Virginia, and Matthew Gill of New Port Richey, Florida.

Grateful thanks are extended to the staff of RoseWood Village and Hospice of the Piedmont for their kind attention to the needs and care of our family member.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009, at Rochelle Christian Church with interment at the church cemetery. The Reverend Ken Morton will officiate.
