Herbert Moore Obituary
Mr. Herbert E. "Herb" Moore, 57, of Goochland, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital. God spoke quietly to his son, Herbert, to tell him it's time to come home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virgie Moore and his father, James Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Jason Tyler; one sister, Barbara Lawson; one brother, Edward W. Moore and his wife, Queen; two nieces, Patricia Moore and Lashawn Dockery and her husband, Quincey; two nephews, Dwayne Moore and Alphonzo Moore; one great-niece, Taitiana Brown; three great- nephews, Alphonzo Moore Jr., Ronald Moore and Darius Gear; and devoted relatives and lifetime friends.
His remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home in Goochland, Virginia.
The family will receive friends 12 p.m., one hour prior to the celebration of his life 1 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Columbia, Virginia. The Reverend Jackson will officiate. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
