Dear Vikki,
It has been a very long time since the last letter we exchanged back in 1995. Incidentally I was looking for some old papers when I found that letter and, therefore, I decided to search for your name in the internet and say hello. I am very sorry to learn about your mother’s passing. I spoke with Jackie over the phone a couple of times and still keep her voice in my memory. Every time I hear about a friend that loses his/her parents my father’s passing comes to my mind. So I can appreciate what you are experiencing. I trust that the memory of your mother and what she meant to you will bring you comfort and strength in this time.
God bless.
