In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I know that I am late in this note to the family, but I want to send my prayers for you all in the passing of Ms. Phillips. She always so kind and thoughtful to me. As a teenager, I remember spending time at the Phillips house. May God continue to bless and keep you. Penny, I am praying for you....

I am so sorry about Joanne. The family is in my thoughts and in my prayers and I hope God will hold you in the palm of his hand as he blesses you with sweet memories. Joanne was always very nice to me. I worked with her at Centel/Sprint. She would always help me when I asked, and she was more than willing to show me how to do something. Her laugh was contagious and she could always make me smile.
With deepest sympathy,
