John Pastore Obituary
He was born on February 15, 1934, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, a son of the late Joseph and Helen (Wilson) Pastore.
Mr. Pastore served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement, he was employed by Addressograph-Multigraph in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and later worked in the fine paper supply business. After moving to Florida, he worked in Real Estate for a number of years. He enjoyed golf and worked as an attendant at the Lake Monticello Golf Course.
Survivors include wife, Patricia Ann (Hall) Pastore; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey John and Lindsay Pastore of Springfield; a daughter, Wendy Elizabeth Pastore of Tinmouth, Vermont; a sister, Judith Dragonette, of Wellfleet, Massachusetts; and his beloved dogs, Casey, Cooper and Lucky.
A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2010, at Thacker Brothers Lake Monticello Funeral Home, 138 Heritage Drive in Palmyra.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Lake Monticello Fire and Rescue, 10 Slice Road, Palmyra, VA 22963; the Fluvanna SPCA, 5239 Union Mills Road, Troy, VA 22974; or the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.

I never saw Jack without a smile on his face...I loved the way he always called the clinic for directions on how to start dinner or to find out why you hadn't left work yet for home...it was obvious to everyone how much he loved you. I hope my daughters are fortunate enough to have husbands like Jack one day...love you, Pat - Tricia
