Dear Constance, Although you don't know me, I knew Lamonte from the Aquatic Fitness Center at UVA. I will indeed miss him. I believe he was the epitome of a gentleman. Francis Withers

Dear Connie, You and Lamonte were among our first friends in Charlottesville, sharing our interests in art and the pleasure of living here. I remember Lamonte as a fine speaker on the radio and a valued reader at RFB; soon, I fear, my voice will be gone and I shall have to resign, also. Do take care; I always enjoy meeting you at the supermarket. David joins me in sending condolence. With warm regards. Willa Lawall
