Ann Erskine Tupper, 90, of Springfield, VT passed away June 17th, 2025 at the Gill Home in Ludlow, VT.
Ann was born November 7,1934 to Mary (Webb) and Richard B Erskine in Damariscotta, Maine. Ann's family moved to Chester, VT in 1941. Her father started Erskine's Grain Store. Ann graduated from Chester High School in 1952. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Webster, whom she married in December 1952. Ann became a young mother the following December with a daughter and again the next December with twins. Ann loved her home as well as baking and sewing. Later, she fostered babies for the Vermont Children's Aid Society from 1962- 1967.
Ann's sewing hobby became professional when the family moved to Cape Cod in 1967. She sewed garments for a dress shop and did alterations for customers.
Ann was a member of the Springfield Church of Christ, enjoying their fellowship as well as Erskine family reunions for many years. She was devoted to her grandchildren, often traveling miles to attend their events.
After her birth near the Maine coast, a lifelong love of the ocean continued. When she moved to Florida, Ann found another passion. She graduated from massage school at age 60 with a focus on Reiki and Foot Reflexology which she practiced and taught for many years. She regularly opened her home for Reiki sessions and prayer.
In 2017 she was reacquainted with widowed Bill Tupper, a former Chester Elementary school classmate at their 65th class reunion. They married in March 2019 in Florida. After Bill passed away in 2022, Ann returned to Vermont.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert Erskine, a sister Bette Willard, a brother Barry Erskine, a granddaughter, Amelia Wilkins and her husband William Tupper.
She is survived by three daughters, Daryl (Ed) Wilkins of Springfield, VT, Debra (Boyd) Rollins, of Encinitas, CA and Denise (Gene) Waters of Chesapeake, VA, a brother Bryan (Diane) Erskine of Green ME, and a sister Jean Gardner of Centerville, MA. Her 4 grandchildren are Colin (Andi Sutton) Wilkins of Rochester, MN, Bethany (Alex) Laham of Hampstead, NH, Melody (Danny) Ganaway of Chesapeake, VA and Jaron (Jess) Waters of Virginia Beach, VA. Her great grandchildren, Madison, Reese and Aria Laham, Flannery Sutton Wilkins, and Tanner and Carson Waters, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
