Marjorie Ann Tupper, 93, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Private family services will be held this summer.
Marjorie was born on January 3, 1932, in Portland, OR, to Fred and Eva Wampnar. She grew up in Eastern Washington, graduating from Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley. On February 18, 1951, Marjorie married the love of her life, Robert Tupper. Together, they raised four wonderful children. Following Bob's career with the railroad, their family moved first to Havre, MT, then Denver, CO, and later Alliance, NE. In addition to providing a warm home and nurturing environment for her family, Marjorie worked for a doctor's office at Kaiser Medical. After retiring, the couple decided to return to where they had originally started their family and where they both considered the prettiest part of the country - Post Falls, ID. Although they called the Northwest home, they spent the next 15 years as snowbirds, towing their RV back and forth to first Texas and then Arizona. In June, Marjorie moved to Sandpoint to be closer to her daughter Patty.
Marjorie enjoyed painting, ceramic dolls, traveling, and square dancing. She is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Dirks of Sydney, NE, Patty (Dan) Unruh of Priest River, ID, and Donna (Keith) Peters of Sedalia, CO; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Yvonne Packard of Spokane Valley, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Tupper, 2012; son, Robert Tupper; two brothers, Fred and Lawrence Wampnar; and one sister, Aleen Veldez.
