Mara was a dear & faithful friend. She was truly one of those extraordinary people God puts here on earth a little while to teach the rest of us how to love as He loves. Talented, intelligent, giving & always helpful & encouraging--she lived an exemplary life & will never be forgotten.

Mr. Evans and family,
I was browsing the obituaries today and your wife's beautiful smile caught my attention. I began to read her obit and found that she was a part of the Latvian community here in Strayhorn, Ms. where I have lived all my life. While I did not know your wife personally, the Latvian people meant alot to our community. There is one maybe two of the orginal houses left. She certainly seemed to be a wonderful woman according to her obituary. I am sincerely sorry for your loss.
