Mary Winslett Obituary
Mary Joyce Craft Winslett, 70, of New Canton, died Friday, November 12, 2010, at her home.
She was born September 17, 1940, in Dew Rose, Georgia the daughter of the late Arthur E. Craft and Lillie Mae Driver Craft; and widow of Floyd, Sisk Winslett.
She is survived by her children, Keith Winslett and his wife, Diana, Rosalind Brooks and Paula Dinsmore and her husband, Bill, all of New Canton, Jonathan Winslett and his wife, Joy, of Dillwyn and Brian Winslett and his wife, Lindsey, of Colonial Beach; as well as 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2010, at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment at the Dillwyn Town Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Welcome Wesleyan Methodist Church Benevolence Fund or Hospice of the Piedmont.

I only knew Joyce for a short while, but i grew to care very deeply for her and enjoyed our chats at church..... I know she loved God and was ready to met him, but i also knew she hated leaving her family ... You were blessed to have such a wonderful lady in your life.. My prayers are with you...
