Montie Wood Obituary
Montie Watts Wood of Crozet, died on Wednesday, December 30, 2009.
He was born on August 14, 1933, a son of the late Sidney F. and Mattie T. Wood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Shannon, Donald and Harry Wood; and one sister, Jean W. Patterson.
He retired from Acme Visible Records after 33 years of service.
Montie is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Deborah W. Lamb and her husband, Larry; a son, Richard K. Wood; two grandchildren, Brian Lamb and his wife, Amy, and Heather Brake and her husband, Marc; five great-grandchildren, Sarah, Rebekah and Leah Lamb, Kyle Lamb and Madison Brake; and two sister-in-laws, Lois M. Schwarz and Janet S. Wood.
At his request, services will be private.
