Marty, Jenn, Kevin, Katie, and Peter. Drew and I send you our deepest sympathy in your grief over Richard's untimely death of Richard. We are sharing your sorrow with you.
Nothing can take from you the wealth of wonderful memories, and the happiness that all of you shared. I know too, that your faith and courage will bring you peace even in the midst of this great sorrow.
With loving thoughts,
Dorothy and Drew

Marty, Jen, Katie, and Peter, I was so overwhelmed with shock when I listened to Sue's message that Dick had passed away Wednesday. Dick was a true artist whose creativity astounds me. I first saw his creativity when Laurie was in the hospital and Dick created the 3-D models of germs. Each name was so funny and I know Laurie really enjoyed them. She kept them up in her room after she got out of the hospital for a long time. I am truly blessed to have seen his creative adventures after retirement when I came to Lynchburg to visit periodically. Few people are truly talented in art and advertising like Dick. I know you each of you will miss him dearly. I pray you know God loves you and he will come along side and comfort you through the loss of your husband . . father . . friend. I wish I could be there to share this enormous loss with you. There is a place, there is a way, there is Someone you can run to in the deepest sorrows of life. You can be assured that our heavenly Father will take you through this unexpected loss.
With my deepest sympathy and much love, Jan Craig
