Robert Berry Obituary
Robert Stuart Berry, 79, of Aroda, died on Sunday, October 10, 2010, at Evergreen Nursing Home.
He was born on March 31, 1931, in Madison County, a son of the late Franklin Stuart Berry and Edna Fern Good Berry. He was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Bruce Berry; four brothers, W. Howard Berry, David F. Berry, Douglas E. Berry and Joseph C. Berry; and a niece, Leila Berry Puglisi.
Mr. Berry retired as Manager of Madison Wood Preservers and was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Whitlock Berry of Aroda; a son, Stuart Wayne Berry of Lynchburg; a brother, Norman J. Berry of Richmond; and a sister, Mildred Carpenter of Rochelle.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at the Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with interment at Graham Cemetery in Orange. Dr. Tommy Palmer will officiate.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2010, one hour before the service the funeral home.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. It always saddens me to learn of the lost of a family member. Been many years since I last seen Robert, but I remember his joyful demeanor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
