Rosa Harris Obituary
Mrs. Rosa J. Harris of Buckingham County, departed this life on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at her home.
She was born on November 20, 1931, in Fluvanna County, the daughter of the late Bessie Trent Johnson and Guy Johnson.
She is survived by one son, Nelson Harris of Charlottesville, Virginia; two sisters, Estelle J. Payne of Buckingham County, and Catherine B. Johnson of Colombia, Virginia; two brothers, Henry Johnson of Charlottesville, Virginia, and Robert Johnson of Buckingham County.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2010, at Colombia Baptist Church, conducted by the Reverend Lloyd Martin. The body will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow in the church.
Sheridan Funeral Home, Kents Store, Virginia, is in charge of arrangements.
