Dear Mrs. Homewood,
I saw your husband's obituary in the paper and was very sad to hear of his passing. I feel badly that he suffered so much in the past year with his hips, and was always impressed with the dignity with which he endured his problems. I am glad to have known him, and I wish you and your family the best during this tough time.

My deepest condolences to the family of Samuel Homewood. The world marvels at his strength and longevity. The Bible in Psalms 90:10 calls it "Special Mightiness". Its so tragic to lose a loved one. May the peace of God that excels all thoughts, comfort you during this time of sorrow. Phil 4:7. As the days and weeks pass by and you return to your nomal routines, may the love and support of family, friends and God's Word comfort you.

Dear Betsy Tom and Family
I am so sorry to hear about Sam. It has been a real pleasure knowing him over the years. He always had a kind word when I saw him, always laughing with some type of joke or witty comment. I shall miss him alot. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy.
