Terri Dols

Terri Dols, 73, died Monday, October 26, 2009, at her home in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Terri was born Myrna del Mulhall on March 18, 1936, to Earl and Bernice Mulhall in Coal City, Illinois.

She was raised in Coal City and graduated from Coal City High School with the class of 1954.

Terri moved to the Chicago area after graduation and worked in the legal profession while pursuing her degree from Northern Illinois University. She married John Dols in 1960, and they resided in Rolling Meadows and Dundee prior to John's death in 1985. Terri had a long profession as an interior designer and her interests included gardening, sewing, reading and spending time with friends. She was in demand as a recognized judge of flower arrangements and floral presentations.

At the time of her death, Terri resided in Charlottesville, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1985; and her parents, Earl in 1972 and Bernice Zeman in 2001.

Terri is survived by one sister, Roberta Byron and her husband, Paul, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; one brother, Dan Mulhall and his wife, Ruth Ann, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been completed and Terri's remains will be laid to rest with her husband's in a rural Minnesota cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the donor's local animal shelter or SPCA are preferred.

Terri was the "quiet" friend who shared her many talents with a multitude of associates. She was a great floral arranger, embroiderer,and friend. I will miss her wonderful smile, willingness to help and most of all her great sense of humor. Margret Bomar
