Wesley Fitzgerald Obituary
Wesley Kent Fitzgerald, 71, of Stuarts Draft, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at his residence.
The son of the late Lawney N. and Blanche E. Fitzgerald, he was born July 22, 1938, in Charlottesville.
Following his service with the United States Marine Corp, he retired as Staff Sergeant with the United States Army after 20 years of service, having served in both Korea and Vietnam.
He attended the Beech Grove Christian Church, Roseland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda June Campbell Fitzgerald; an infant daughter, Angelina Naomi Ruth Fitzgerald; and a sister-in-law, Emma Toombs Fitzgerald.
Survivors include his daughter, Monica Seale and her husband, Mike, of Palmyra; two brothers, Warren Fitzgerald of Roseland, Wayne Fitzgerald and his wife, Betty, of Lyndhurst; two nieces, Krista Monahan and Sarah Earhart.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010, at Beech Grove Christian Church, by Pastor Mike Auen.
Burial will follow with military honors at the Rockfish Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2010, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.

I am so sorry to hear of Wes leaving us. I will miss him. We would chat
at the post office. I didn't know he
was in Stuarts Draft. I have missed
him and just thought the weather had
been to bad...I just read the paper a
few minutes ago.
We had fun at our Marine Dinner Party.
He also accompanied us to a Class Reunion at Oakridge in Arrington. I wanted to get him over to see Guy William when the weather was warmer. They were school chums, too!
