William "Bill" E. Brown Jr.

William "Bill" E. Brown Jr., 66, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009, at home surrounded by his family after a short illness.

Bill was born on January 1, 1943, to William and Christine M. Brown.

He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Brown Sr.; brothers, James F., Vernon Irvin and John C. Brown; and a granddaughter, Katrina L. Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Annette Brown; mother, Christine M. Brown; sons, Jeffrey R. Brown and his wife, Linda, and Samuel M. Brown; a daughter, Deborah Meraz-Montoya and her husband, Castulo; two brothers, Thomas E. and Charles P. Brown; two granddaughters, Lanessa M. and Elizabeth Brown; a grandson, Kyle E. Brown; and three great- grandchildren, Latrina, Aalyiah and Joseph.

Bill retired from Virginia Industries for the Blind and was a member of Woodmen of the World.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2009, at the Teague Chapel with Josh Shifflett officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Teague Funeral Home.
