Kathleen A. Steidle, 64, of Chester, NJ passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013. Kathleen was born on November 9, 1948 in Rockville Centre, NY. She grew up in Long Island and has lived in Chester since 1988 and was previously of Port Washington, NY. She worked as an assistant manager at the Chester Hallmark for 10 years and later retired from Apgar Associates in Far Hills. She was a parishioner of St. Lawrence RC Church. Kathleen loved to bake and was known for her "over the top" cakes.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, George Steidle; her children, Amy Rohling and her husband Tom, and Brendan Steidle and his wife Janette; her mother, Dorothy McNaughton; her siblings, Linda Bernhard, Robert McNaughton, and Kenneth McNaughton; 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Mea, and Noel, and 3 step-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Kathleen's Life will be held on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road, Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 12:00pm funeral mass will be on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at St. Lawrence RC Church in Chester. Interment will be held privately by the family.
