Robert McNie Obituary
AGE: 55 • East Stroudsburg, PA
Robert C. McNie, 55, of East Stroudsburg, passed away Saturday afternoon, July 13, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at the VNA Hospice House, East Stroudsburg. Born in Kearny, NJ, on August 30, 1957 he was the son of the late Robert I. McNie and Ruth J. (Killmer) McNie.
Robert was a 1975 graduate of Parsippany High School, in Parsippany Troy Hills, NJ. He worked at Picatinny Arsenal, in Morris County, NJ as a Mine Specialist where he retired in 2011 so that he could care for his, beloved wife, Paulette. Robert was a former member of the Masonic Lodge, in Cresco, Eagles Club, in Stroudsburg, Moose Lodge, in Stroudsburg, and the American Legion: George N. Kemp Post #346, in East Stroudsburg.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife, computers, and having the newest gadget. Robert had a gift that he could fix just about anything he put his hands on. He will be loved forever and greatly missed by his family and friends.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his father, is his loving wife Paulette A. Condon who passed away on December 1, 2011. Surviving is his mother: Ruth J. McNie, of Whiting, NJ; a brother Craig McNie and his wife Cynthia, of East Stroudsburg; an uncle: Douglas McNie and his wife Martha, of North Arlington, NJ; several Cousins.
Services will be private to the family. Memorial donations in memory of Robert C. McNie can be made to the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County: 502 Independence Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301 or Wounded Warrior Project: P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675. Bob was a close friend and I will never forget him. It is a very sad love story that resulted in this but I hope Bob's pain has disappeared and he will be eternally happy.
He was a very caring person in both his professional and personal life. My codolences to his Mother, brother Craig and Cynthia.

The members of the Fuze and Warhead Division of ATK; located at ABL, had the pleasure of working with Robert, and wish to extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
We had firsthand knowledge of Robert's love and adoration for his wife; Paulette, as well as his fondness of travel and newest advances in technology. Robert was committed and dedicated in his endeavor to work with his "contractor" associates, and will be missed.
