KODY WAS A GOOD KID AND ALWAYS SMILING WHEN I SAW HIM. IT IS SAD WHEN ONE SO YOUNG IS TAKEN FROM THE WORLD WITHOUT REALLY BEGINNING THEIR LIFE. YOU ARE IN MY PRAYERS. SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

I knew Kody from the Texas Kayak Fisherman web site.

I am just devastated. I've had tears in my eyes every time I think of him or read a post about him - like now.

He always had good postives things to say to my son for his LL achievements. And for that I am eternally grateful.

Kody'd last words to my son were "Good Luck and safe playing..."

He will be missed, yet the memories of his kind, thoughtful words will live in my son and my hearts for eternity.

As a student of Seaborne ChalleNGe Corps, Kody proved himself capable of making a difference in his life and making a success of himself. I am proud to see that he was a member of the Volunteer Fire Dept. as this had been a goal of his. My condolances on behalf of the staff of Seaborne ChalleNGe Corps go to his friends and family.

The loss of a child is surely the most painful thing in the world. Although I never taught Kody, I taught in Etoile for many years and he kept good company with the Bass boys. May God comfort Kody's family and friends.
