Charles Grimme Obituary

Grimme, Charles T. “ChUck”, age 59, passed away suddenly on May 26, 2014. Born July 2, 1954, Chuck resided in Harrison Township, Mich. where he was a past Commander of the Conger Bay Boat Club. He was employed by American Financial Group as a Senior Safety Engineer. Chuck’s class was the first to graduate from Madison Grant, Fairmount, Ind. in 1972. A 1976 graduate of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind., he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and earned a degree in Health and Safety. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin H. Grimme and Bonnie (Vaughn) Grimme. Surviving are his son, Jacob Grimme, St. Elmo, Ala.; brothers, John (Cheryl) Grimme, Zionsville, Ind., Frank (Cindy) Grimme, Kokomo, Ind., Randy Grimme, Elwood, Ind.; sister, Melanie Lister, Green Valley, Ariz., and longtime friend, Glen (Glennie) Burg, Harrison Township, Mich. He also had eight nieces and nephews, as well as seven grand-nieces and nephews.
