OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA., for Bertman Daniel, 57, who entered eternal rest, Saturday, July 16, 2011 at his residence in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Jaison Mangalath, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial.
Mr. Daniel is survived by his children, a daughter, Kreshia Daniel of Lawtell, LA., a son, Kevin Daniel of Houston, TX.; his fianc?, Jane Poullard of Opelousas, LA.; a sister, Bernadine Daniel of Houston, TX.; a brother, Earnest Daniel, Jr. of Houston, TX.; 7 grandchildren, Markia, Kierra, Taylor, Kevin, Jr., Kayla, Kynnedy and Bryant, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Daniel, Sr. & Bernadette Sam Daniel; a brother, Ray B. Fontenot and his Godparents, Curtis Daniel, Sr. & Helen L. Daniel. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Williams Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA.
