Wilbert Dale Guillory

Port Barre - Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 4th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany in Opelousas for Wilbert Dale Guillory, age 59, who passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at his residence in Port Barre.

Father Pete Smith, pastor of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany of Opelousas, will officiate at the services.

Mr. Guillory was a native of Opelousas and a resident of Port Barre. He was a parishioner of the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany of Opelousas. Mr. Guillory was a veteran of the military having served in the U.S. National Guard.

Survivors include his mother, Bessie Lee Moreau Guillory, of Port Barre; two brothers, Kenneth Guillory and his wife, Lynette, of Port Barre and Mathew Guillory and his wife, Lori, of Mamou; one nephew, Logan Guillory of Mamou; nieces, Angel Guidroz and her husband, Shane, of Leonville and Emma Guillory of Mamou; one great nephew, Jase Guidroz; one great niece, Madison Guidroz; and his companion of twenty two years, Carolyn Darbonne, of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbert Guillory.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany Church Hall in Opelousas from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany Church in Opelousas.
