Frances, I am sorry that I did not find out about David's services in time to be there. You and Susan have always been a part of my family growing up. My prayers to God are that he may comfort you and your family and keep you safe.

We only met David once at Kristin and Jeremy's wedding but we enjoyed him so much. He was so funny and the love he had for his family was obvious. He will missed by many.

Joe and I are so brokenhearted. We LOVED Dave so much. I have so many memories of Wake Forrest, I wouldn't know where to begin. Dave mowing the lawn at 11:00 P.M., and how he always made us laugh... at something!! When we first started our business, Dave would walk in, sell us pens and hats, and always had us in stitches laughing before he left. Frances, my heart aches for you and of course the children. I will keep you in my prayers, as the Lord alone can comfort you and heal a broken heart!! We love you, and know that if you need anything, we are here for you!! Love, Joe and Beth East

Dear Frances We wanted to come down for Davids services but right now I have a case of Shingles and don't think it would be a good idea for me to spread it around. We love you and have missed the fun times we all had together. We have wanted to come down to Dallas for some time and see everyone, but just haven't done it. Seems like we get so wrapped up in our daily lives that time slips away from us. And the older I get time seems to be speeding up. You and David made such a great couple. You were the calm one and he was always right in the middle of things. We will all miss him. God Bless you both.

I remember Dave as "Binderman" at Evans Engraving many years ago. He always had a funny story or hilarious joke to share, always with his disarming smile. I'm sure his family will miss him, I hope they can deal with his loss with strength and grace.

Looking through pictures of your dad, I see so much of you Kristin, and it's obvious you got your zest for life & your joyful & bubbly personality from your dad. To the entire Peay family, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Dave was a fantastic husband, father, and friend. He loved you all so much. He will be greatly missed by his neighborhood friends as well. Greg and I always had great conversations and lots of laughs with Dave.

The best thing said to me when I lost my Dad was by my 9 year old niece..."I am sad Poppy is gone but I am happy he will never have to miss one of my softball games again...he will be watching them all from Heaven." I try to remember this everyday and I hope you guys can, too. With Love.
