Parker Wilson Obituary

WILSON, PARKER FRANK Born May 3, 1922 in Dallas, Texas, died Thursday, May 12, 2005 at home. Served Charlie Battery, 384 Field Artillery Battalion. 103rd Infantry Division during WWII. Finished Law school UT Austin, worked in Sears Regional Legal Dept. 30 years. Served as full-time pro bono lawyer at Projecto Adelante 18 years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Jean Wilson. He is survived by a sister, Honey Bracken. three daughters, Mimi Henderson of Springdale, Arkansas, Nancy Boye, San Jose, Costa Rica, and Elizabeth Branch of Goliad, Texas, five grandchildren; Michelle Harrell, Valerie Wren, Brian Boye Greg Branch, and Ed Branch. Two great-grandchildren, R. King Harrell Ill, and Henry Wren Harrell. A memorial celebration will be held at Northway Christian Church, 7202 West Northwest Highway, at 1:00pm, Monday, May 16, 2005 with Pastor, Dr. Doug Skinner officiating with fellowship after. He donated his body to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. 214-648-2221. ,
