Adeline Bryant Obituary

Montgomery Bryant, Adeline "Janet" Janet Montgomery Bryant passed away quietly in her sleep early morning June 16, 2014 in Allen, TX. She was 91. Born in Tappan, ND and reared in Eastern Montana during the Dustbowl Era, Jan served proudly in United States Army Nurse Corps during WWII. She moved to Dallas, TX to be an instructor of nursing for Methodist Hospital, where she met her late husband of 35 years, former Dallas County Judge John R. Bryant. Her loving family remains: sons and daughters-in-law John and Nancy Bryant of McKinney, TX, James and Judith Bryant of Riverside, CA, and Jeff and Shanna Bryant of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren Anna and David Bryant and Samuel and Isaac Bryant; and sister, Elaine Mitchell of Cutbank, MT. The family will hold a private service at a later date. Those wanting to provide a memorial, please send donations to Cancer Care www.cancercare.org.
