Catherine Paige Schmidt

Schmidt, Catherine Paige Catherine Paige Schmidt, born November 26, 1966, in Lubbock, Texas, died March 2, 2012. Paige grew up in Dallas, graduated in 1985 from JJ Pearce High School, Richardson, Texas, from Texas A&M University, 1989, and The University of Houston School of Law, 1995. Paige practiced intellectual property law with Exxon Mobil Corporation and Total Petroleum. Paige was a devoted mother, loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. With a scientific intellect and unbounded compassion, Paige cherished all natural things. Her curiosity and love for all Earth's creatures set her apart from all others. She never stopped learning. Paige is survived by her precious children, Trajan Merrill Schmidt and Trevi Sidney Schmidt. They were her heart. She is also survived by her husband, Sidney Harrison Schmidt, parents, Jo Lynne Merrill and Roy Lee and Donna Merrill, brothers, David Merrill and Jeremy Merrill, step-brothers, Jason Womack and Paul Womack, half-brother Sam Merrill, sister-in-law, Eve Merrill, nephew, Miles Merrill, and niece, Gabrielle Merrill.
