Charles Shinn Obituary

Shinn, Charles David Charles David Shinn, of Coppell Texas passed away suddenly on July 18th, 2012. Chuck was born on August 1, 1945 in Camden New Jersey. He served 9 years in the US Navy and was a lifetime ham radio operator. Chuck was a resident of Coppell, TX for 22 years. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cynthia Shinn, his chil-dren - Mackenzie Carter, Whitney Wade, Lindsay Idar, Matthew Shinn; their spouses - Denny Carter, Ian Wade, and Jonathon Idar; and 7 wonderful grandchil-dren. Memorial Service is being held Saturday, July 21st, 2012 at 2pm at the First United Methodist Church of Coppell - 420 South Heartz Rd. Coppell, TX 75019. In lieu of flowers, memorial contri-butions can be made to FAR (Foun-dation for Amateur Radio) Scholar-ships PO Box 911 Columbia, MD 21044 in memory of Charles Shinn.

So sorry to hear the news. Cindy, our mothers were friends back in the 50s, and it was a real pleasure working with Chuck back in the 80s and early 90s. It feels like yesterday. Condolences and warmest regards to you and your family. Chuck... RIP.
