Ernest Worm Obituary

Worm, Ernest David Ernest David Worm, born May 2, 1926, in Milwaukee, WI and died May 23, 2010, Rockwall, TX. A good Christian man with strong family values, a veteran of World War II where he served in the Navy in the U.S. Pacific Theater. He was a Comptroller for Crown-Zellerbach Corporation, retiring after 33 yrs to travel and pursue his passion for outdoors and gardening. Preceded in death by parents Ernst & Ella Worm, brothers Donald and Eugene, granddaughter Jana, wife of 20 years Bette Jayne Phillips-Worm and stepson Steve Phillips. Survived by loving wife of 11 years, Joanne Whetstone Worm, sisters Betty and Dolly, sons David, wife Shirl, John and Sarah, grandsons Jon David, Jonathon and Micah, 4 stepdaughters, Jan Phillips-Burwell, husband Randy, Diana Crawford, Donna Fuller, husband Ozzie Molina and Pamela Calvert, husband Larry, 8 step granddaughters and grandsons. Visitation Wednesday, 6-8 pm at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, Dallas. Memorial Service, Thursday, 11 am White Rock United Methodist Church, 1450 Oldgate Lane, Dallas.
