Janet Mack Obituary

Mack, Janet Ross Janet Ross Mack passed away on May 19, 2010 after a short illness at the age of 75. She was born on November 6, 1934 in Rochester, NY to Wilfred and Lorraine Ross. Janet is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donald E. Mack; daughter, Karen Smith and husband Christopher of Slidell, LA along with their children Ryan, Molly and Matthew; sons, Dr. David Mack and wife Barbara of Cypress, TX, along with their children Ashley and Amy; Peter Mack and wife Kristen of Boca Raton, FL along with their children Austin and Adam; and Donald J ("DJ") Mack of Irving, TX. Janet, Donald and their children moved from Rochester, NY to Richardson, Texas in 1974. Janet graduated from UTD where she later worked as a Systems Analyst. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2 PM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plano, TX. Visitation will take place at the church for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow the service at the St. Mark Columbarium. All are invited to attend a reception afterwards at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the American Lung Association at www.lungusa.org/donate.

I worked with Janet many, many times for many years. She was always sweet and helpful and has been missed since she left. I am so very sorry for your lose and I pray for all of you to only have happy memories.
