Dear Debra and family,
Lois and I were saddened to learn of Lou's death. We just met Lou and Deb at the Richmond Reunion last July and had such a great time with everyone. We Nam Vet's have such a close bond with each other it's like loosing a family member when one of us passes away. Take care and god bless your family. I'm sure that Lou is smiling down on us and probably telling St. Peter some jokes.

I recently learned of Lou's illness and passing at the jewelry show in Las Vegas. There are many great stories of the man everyone affectionately called "mad dog”!

Lou could bring a smile to your face without even trying. Thank you Lou for all the smiles and laughter. I will miss you.

Deb, I was shocked when I got word from Sam telling me about Lou. It's been years since we've been in touch but I'll always remember Lou going back to our days in New York and then when he moved to Dallas. Alice and I send our condolences, we know that Lou is at peace and hope that you too will find peace in knowing that he is in a better place. Alice & Alan Katz
