Not sure what to say?

Dear Debra and family,
Lois and I were saddened to learn of Lou's death. We just met Lou and Deb at the Richmond Reunion last July and had such a great time with everyone. We Nam Vet's have such a close bond with each other it's like loosing a family member when one of us passes away. Take care and god bless your family. I'm sure that Lou is smiling down on us and probably telling St. Peter some jokes.

I recently learned of Lou's illness and passing at the jewelry show in Las Vegas. There are many great stories of the man everyone affectionately called "mad dog”!

Lou could bring a smile to your face without even trying. Thank you Lou for all the smiles and laughter. I will miss you.

I was in Viet Nam with Lou and had ,in the last few years found Lou and maintained contact via email with him.We shared many good and bad times but I have fond memories of our times in Nam together. He was my Platoon Sgt and I was a squad leader.Im saddened of his loss.He was a true soldier. My condolences to the family.Any family member, feel free to contact me Danny Elam,Abilene Diagnostic Clinic,Abilene,Texas.

Deb, I was shocked when I got word from Sam telling me about Lou. It's been years since we've been in touch but I'll always remember Lou going back to our days in New York and then when he moved to Dallas. Alice and I send our condolences, we know that Lou is at peace and hope that you too will find peace in knowing that he is in a better place. Alice & Alan Katz

Debra, your family has been in my thoughts. I am so sorry to hear about Lou. I know you did all you could to fill the time you had together as a family, and now he is at peace. Draw strength from all of those around you that care so much. Sallie Fortney (BOAmer)

I am so sorry and was really taken back by Mr. T's illness and death. My brother David let us all know and we have such WONDERFUL memories of all you - pre - Brie (!) and Christopher and of course living right next door and in the neighborhood while Christopher and Gabrielle grew up. I consider you guys family..and I wish I could be there with you to offer some strength.
