Michael Lee Manning

Manning, Michael Lee Michael Lee Manning, 60, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 6th, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with kidney cancer. Mike is best described as a Christian, loving husband, dedicated father, amazing Paw-Paw, son, brother, loyal friend, true gentleman, an inspiration and example to all, filled with courage, integrity and honor the toughest "dude" anyone has ever known. Mike is survived by his wife Lynn Etta of 36 years, son Jeff and daughter-in-love Erika Manning , daughter Molly and son-in-love Jon Rutty, grandsons Ryan and Matthew, his father Frank Manning of Dallas, sister Patty of Alpine, brother Robert of Houston, brother-in-law John Gilmore, of Dallas and nephew Evan Gilmore of Houston, Texas. He is further survived by extended relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Lily Frances Manning. A memorial service to celebrate Mike's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9th, 2009, at First United Methodist Church in Rockwall; 1200 East Yellowjacket, Rockwall, TX 75087. Rev. Pool and Rev. Garrett will officiate.
