David Enright

Enright, David E. 1941-2009 He was a remarkable husband; father, brother, uncle and friend. David was lifted up to be in God's army on July 26, 2009 after an amazing struggle with cancer. David attended Jesuit College Preparatory School, and in 1959 he was a member of the only undefeated/untied football team in Jesuit Ranger history. He received a four-year football scholarship to SMU, and in 2005 was inducted into the Jesuit Sports Hall of Fame. He married his wife, Jo, on September 16, 1966. They have a daughter, Tracey, who was blessed to have David in her life as her father, best friend and mentor. David was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Pat Enright and is survived by a wonderful extended family: sister-JoEllen Wilson and her husband Bob Wilson, and four adoring nieces - Elise, Shannon, Michelle and Melinda. His first love was Jesus Christ, and he loved playing golf with his many friends. One of David's biggest attributes was being a FRIEND to anyone and everyone who needed a friend. He was one of the few people who took over a room when he walked in. His incredible heart and sense of humor were shared with many whom he made laugh and many he comforted. He will be missed more than words can express. David's Memorial will be held at Fellowship Bible Church Arapaho located @ the corner of Arapaho Rd. & Springcreek Rd. at 3PM on Thursday, July 30th.
