Jo Pybus Obituary

Pybus, Jo Helen Jo Helen Pybus, age 76, of Plano, Texas passed away May 20, 2011. She was born June 26, 1934 in Dothan, Alabama. Jo worked for Raytheon for twenty years. She was a member of the Collin Creek Mall Walkers Club. She loved taking cruises. Jo was a member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Frisco, where she loved volunteering. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, James C. Pybus of Plano, Texas; daughters, Jana Wingfield and husband, Alan of McKinney, Texas, Traci Koen and husband, Karl of Plano, Texas, Kristi DeFazio and husband, Joel of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son, James Pybus and wife, LaDonna of Plano, Texas; fifteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and numerous other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 21 years, William P. Gillis; parents, Addis L. Vann and Mildred (Willoughby) Harvard; grandson, Kyle Austin Koen and her sister, Kaye Vann Hughes. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 6400 Stonebrook Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75034. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. Jo was very very special, and the world is a better place because of her wonderful life.
