Memories and Condolences
for James Martin

Not sure what to say?

I knew him for a number of years as a close friend to Sarah.
Jim would always give me fair advise, he made a great plate of steak and potatoes, and never got too mad at Sarah for hanging out with me. I know how much she loved her dad. Bless him, his mother (passed in 2006) and love to all his family. charlie

He and his Family were long-time friends.

Jim was one of the finest men we have ever known. His contributions to the Barbershop Harmony Society were significant; he was always a cheerful and enthusiastic member of the VM and our "special" VM group, The Decadants. Never a shrinking violet, we always knew where Jim was by his wonderful laugh and helpful spirit. He is missed. We were blessed to have known him for nearly 40 years and cherish his memory. Our prayers are with Cindy and the family.

Judge Martin was the very best - both as a judge and a human being. He will be sorely missed. Blessings and peace to his family.

Some people are missed when passing, and some are dearly missed as James Martin, we must pick up the memories of James Basset Martin, and the passion that he had for children and live on thankful that he left so much to remember.

To Jims Family: We are heart broken over the loss of Jim. We have known him, sang with him and experienced many joyous moments with him as member's of the Vocal Majority. Jim was not just a friend, he was part of the soul of the VM. He always had a kind word, a smile and a greeting that made you feel very special. Jim is now in a better place but his friends and family have lost a very special man.
Our special condolences to his family and we offer our apologies for not being able to attend on Saturday as we are leaving for a trip.
The memories of Jim will warm our hearts and remain with us forever. God Bless.
