Papa was my favorite person in the whole wide world. I am his great granddaughter, and I am named after his wife. I am constantly reminded of his life and legacy. Reading everyone´s messages makes me so happy.

I am sorry to hear of Joe's demise. I missed the service because I failed to look at the Metro section for a couple of days.
I cherish the memories of Joe and Charlotte and hope that you find comfort knowing that so many people care for you.

My sympathy and condolences in the loss of Joe Geary, Jr. --- valued friend with associations over many, many years in so many different ways: Member of Highland Park United Methodist Church, involvement in his zoning and eminent domain practice in behalf of clients with the City of Dallas while I was there --- he was a powerful and effective representative of his clients (I was one) --- but a becoming one, and an observer (and admirer) of his passionate patriotism.
I was saddened by the report.
I will miss him --- while treasuring the many important memories.

Dear Mike and family,
I'm sad to hear of Joe's passing but I know that heaven now has one more deal-making forceful advocate to brighten its skies. My Dad passed last month also and having these two giants arrive at the same time may be more than heaven can handle in one month. I will expect to hear a lot of Thunder! I'm so glad that I was able to tell him on his 90th birthday how much he meant to me personally and that he had been a huge mentor in my life. He gave me my start and I will never forget him for the energy and loyalty he inspired in all of us who came to stand on the shoulders of this Great Man!!
With Devotion and Love to the Geary family, Mark Davenport

Condolences to all the members of the Geary Family. Reading his obituary, he was impressive and accomplished a lot. From his life in Dallas and work as a lawyer, I can only imagine how proud he must have been of you, Carol, and also how much he must have loved you all. May your memories of him help you find comfort. Marian and Tom Austin
