Jose Antonio Rivera-Nevarez

Dear Glynn: This is Jose from Puerto Rico. While searchng the web to get in touch with you and Sue, I came upon her obituary. As a former student, I can say I was blessed with her encouragement and enthusiasm while working on my MS in chemistry. I enjoyed receiving her yearly letter and having spent a day at your beautiful home. You both made me feel at home when I was so far away from it. I pray to Jesus and Blessed Virgin Mary so that his perpetual light and grace shines upon Sue, who is certainly enjoying being in the presence of God and her parents. I also thank you, Glynn, for making me feel at home. I will never forget you both, and wish you health and happiness to you and your family members. Sue lived a full and productive life, so there is much to remember her for. Keep your sunny side up and enjoy God's love that is within you. Receive my love from Puerto Rico. Jose A. Rivera Nevarez, MD.
P.D. If you ever come down here on a cruise or vacation, call me at 787-942-5238. My email is [email protected]. I am in facebook too, although rarely use it.

Glenn,
I am just learning of the passing of Sue. As only you know, she played a major role in my life helping me to find and connect with my parents through the historical society. May your heart be filled with the warmth of her memories and all that she did in her life as an educator, friend, and wife.

We are very sorry to learn of Sue's passing.
The pictures etc. that she and Glynn donated to us document changes to our township that we wouldn't otherwise have.
(Sue was also one of my chemistry teachers at WSU in 1972.)
