Ever since I heard of this horrible tragedy, your family has not left my mind. Even though I never met them in person, I could tell that Brennan truly was the spitting image of Dave in every way, and Finley had her mother Tina's piercing blue eyes and happy disposition. I am so deeply sorry, my heart breaks for you both and for Jorden. May Brennen and Finley walk together into eternity hand in hand, and may God keep you all in His loving arms and bring you comfort, peace and strength in this definition of difficult time.

Dave, I was speechless when I heard the news last week. Heartbreaking. When we were deployed, you were the best doctor, teacher, and officer I'd had the honor of working with.
