Steve Creager Obituary
News Death Notice
CREAGER, Steve Sheldon age 55, of Piqua, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Steve was preceded in death by his parents: Maurice & Naomi Creager. He is survived by his wife: Linda K. Creager; daughter and son-in- law: Kimberly & Jamie Reed of Covington; son: Joshua Creager of Piqua; sister and brother -in-law: Maureen & Bill Gillmore; and numerous nieces and nephews. Steve was a tool and die maker at American Trim Co. in Sidney. He loved fishing, bowling, football, and spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at Davids Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 8:00 P.M. The family would like to send a special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Hospice of Dayton for their special care of Steve, also very special thanks to his three nieces, Penny Xidas, Pamala Brock and Patty Palmer and home care nurse, Cathy Broughton. To my dear friend Steve as I'm sure you know. It pains me that I was not able to see you before nor attend your funeral. But I will always remember the brotherhood we shared and the great times we had together. You were a great husband, father and friend. You and Hefty look in on us from time to time.
Good bye my friend.
Maureen, My prayers go out to you and your family.
Linda, Kim, and Josh I am so sorry that I could not be with you during your troubled times and try and help you through this. I will pray for you all daily,and when I come to Dayton I will make it a point to come and visit. Any of you please call me if you need to talk. I love you all dearly!
