TAKACS, Audrey (Pumilia) age 66 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away in her sleep, on Saturday, June 14, 2014. She was born to the late Paul Pumilia and Audrey (Gebele) Pumilia on December 14, 1947. Audrey is survived by her Daughters, Megan Golden and Alana Takacs, sister Paula Bueno, niece Monica Pappas, granddaughters Hannah and Hailey Golden, and numerous cousins who were like brothers and sisters to her. She also leaves behind countless students and close friends whose lives she touched with her generous loving spirit. In honor of her wishes, there will be a Memorial/Celebration of Life Party held at Cox Arboretum on Saturday, July 26th, 2014, from 5pm to 9pm, in their Fifth Third Conference Center. It will be a celebration of the extraordinary life that Audrey lived. As a Tribute in Audrey's Honor, there will be a Memorial Bench, with her name on it, at The Wegerzyn Garden Center. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made towards the cost of the memorial bench. These donations can be sent to Five Rivers Metro Park, 409 East Monument Ave, 3rd Floor, Dayton, OH 45402. ** Please state on the donation that it is in Audrey Takacs' memory and goes to Wegerzyn gardens** Donations can also be brought to the memorial celebration. The bench will be in Wegerzyn Gardens for 10 years. The families hope is that anyone who knew and loved Audrey can go sit on her bench, and talk with her whenever they feel the need.
