News Death Notice

DENNY, Sr., Roy R. "Rudy" Age 88 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, Ohio. He was born on July 25, 1926 to the late Richard & Beatrice (Fugate) Denny in Irving, Kentucky. Rudy was a retired plumber and a member of the Greenville Missionary Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Mary M. Denny, whom he married on September 17, 1945; son, Donald A. Denny; daughter, Audrey S. Reynolds; and 4 brothers. Rudy is survived by sons and daughters in laws, Sam & Laurie Denny of New Lebanon, Ohio, Tom Denny of Union City, Ohio, Roy & Beverly Denny of Dayton, Ohio, and Tony & Debbie Denny of West Carrolton, Ohio; daughters and son in law, Carol West of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Connie & Bill Cook of Greenville, Ohio; 1 sister; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5-6 PM with memorial service to follow at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Rogers' Funeral Home, 324 West Main St. New Lebanon, Ohio 45345.
