News Death Notice

REVIS, James REVIS, James, 90, of Lawrenceburg, IN and formerly of Lebanon, OH, died Sunday November 2, 2014. Born February 8, 1924 in Warbranch, KY to George W. and Mollie (nee: Asher) Revis, he was a Leslie County High School graduate. A US Air Force veteran, he was a member of the South Lebanon Baptist Church and had been attending the Bible Baptist Church in Greendale, IN for the past 9 years. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Evelyn (nee: Howard) Revis, one son, John M. Revis, four brothers, Walter, Bruce, John, and George JR, and four sisters, Nettie Johnson, Nora Vaughn, Polly Covert, and Carrie Mundell. Survivors include one son, James D. Revis of Lawrenceburg, IN, one step daughter, Sharon Spencer of St Cloud, FL, one brother, Fred Revis of Lebanon, one sister, Grace Taylor of Lebanon, one grandchild, Teresa Batchelder and one great grandchild, Sarah Batchelder. Visitation, Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 10 AM till 12 Noon with funeral service immediately following, all at the Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon. Interment follows in Deerfield Cemetery.
