Walter RASOR Obituary
News Death Notice
RASOR, Walter A. "Walt" Age 88, passed away January 3, 2015 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Brookville, OH to the late Wilbur and Nellie Rasor. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Imogene Rasor; second wife, Helen Rasor; brothers, Lowell (Vera) Rasor and Dale (Evelyn) Rasor; and sister, Wilma (Merlin) Osswald. He is survived by his son, Mike (Tina) Rasor; daughter, Pam Schneider; grandchildren, Michelle (Matt) Dillsavor, Andrea Carlson, Grant Carlson, Brooke (Scott) Blackwood, Deanna Schneider, Nathan Schneider, and Meredith Schneider; and 4 great-grandchildren. Walt was a proud member of the Experimental Aircraft Association since 1959. He had retired from the city of Centerville after many years of service. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment will be held privately at Arlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton. To send a message of condolence, please visit www.NewcomerDayton.com

Pam & Mike, I was so sorry to learn about your father's passing. I spoke with him over the phone last winter season and he was just so full of zest! It had been years since last speaking with him, and he took me back memory lane, refreshing and dusting off much of those long time 'go events, faces and places. May God's comfort and peace abide deep within your souls during this season of loss and healing.

Pam and Mike: Sorry for your loss. I remember your dad helping repair our cars we bought from him.. He was always willing to help us out with a smile on is face.
