Family-Placed Obituary
DAY, Beulah Helen of Jonesville VA, passed away at Hospice of Dayton, Tuesday night.. Preceded in death by her parents Harve and Ida Harvel & a sister, Pauline Newman. Beulah is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, John J. Day; daughters & sons-in-law, Sherry Lynn and Harrison Whiteaker, Karen Elaine and Michael Yowler; sisters & brother-in-law, Wilma Farmer of Portsmouth VA, Lorene & Chris Christiansen of Waterloo, IA; grandchildren and spouses, Crystal & James Jeunelot, Kelly Whiteaker, Nick Yowler, Chris Conley, Amber and Jared Holliman, Samantha Yowler, Monica Conley; great grandchildren, Gabriel Jeunelot, Lyndsey Jeunelot, Lily Holliman, Gavin Holliman and many special friends. Funeral service 10:30 A.M. Friday at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel" 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Pastor Lou Watson officiating. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends 9:30 A.M. Friday until time of services at the George C. Martin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45402.

Dearest John and Family- you are in our thoughts and prayers here in Iowa. Aunt Beulah will never be forgotten and I know she is kindly watching over us all. We will miss her so much. I am so glad you both came to my wedding. I have wonderful memories of your visit and lovely pictures of you both!

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. No words can take away the sadness nor the pain. Beulah was truly a special woman, I will miss her terribly at Paint Creek, she always made me smile. A wonderful women indeed.

Beulah will truly be missed ,I have never met such a beautiful ,loving person in my life ! The minute that you two met us, our children became like grandkids to you -they truly love you both, you were the best neighbors that anyone could ever have asked for and you never treated us any less than family! God Bless You and please stay strong you have alot of family that loves and needs you :) We love you !

Mama,
There are so many wonderful things about you that I will miss so much. Your strength of charcter and mind will always be an example to me. I will never forget all of our special moments together. Your kind heart and love of children was so genuine. You were a wonderful Mama. Don't worry about Papa, we will take good care of him. Although it will be hard for all of us to go on without you, you will always be in our hearts. We will draw strength from our memories of you.
I know how much you love me and I know that you know how much I love you. Say Hello to Nanda and Aunt Mackie for me and save me some popcorn!
