Graveside services for Fred Eugene Peebles, 77, of Hartselle will be held Sunday, November 7, 2010, at 3:30 p.m. with full military honors at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Peebles officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Peebles, who died Friday, November 5, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born February 19, 1933, in Lawrence County to Elbert and Naomi Peebles. He was retired from the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his two children, Teresa Jean Peebles and Fred "Sport" Peebles Jr.

Survivors include one son, Raymond Dale Peebles of Hartselle; one daughter, Terry Ann Peebles of Moulton; three sisters, Peggy Chapman of Hartselle, Annie Ruth Adkins of Falkville and Mildred Madison of Decatur; and one brother, Preston Peebles of Priceville.
